Food
It is said that at Lluc you can eat the best lamb in the mountains and drink the purest water. Here you will find something for all tastes and budgets: a simple sandwich, a barbecue, a huge paella in the recreation area of Ca s’Amitger or the Centenary Meeting Place, or a set menu or a la carte in one of our restaurants. Especially if you have walked here and have arrived with a good appetite. Whether you have come with friends. Or to take a weight off your conscience.
Sa Fonda
Located in the main building, between the Plaça del Lledoner and the Jardí de les Magnólies. The Fonda dates back to the 19th century when the Missionaries of the Sacred Hearts took over the Sanctuary and decided to expand the existing pilgrims’ kitchen. The building work was overseen by the architect Bartomeu Ferrà who was restoring various other parts of the Sanctuary at the same time. It appears that the first family to run the restaurant was that of Fr Rafel Juan (distinguished archivist of Lluc). The restaurant has been reformed on various occasions over the years.
